Limpid, an AI-driven pet healthcare startup, announced on May 14 that it has signed a multilateral memorandum of understanding (MOU) with five domestic organizations for the development of a precision nutrition management platform based on multimodal AI for intractable complex diseases in companion animals.
This agreement was initiated following the selection of the “Technology Development Project for Overcoming Intractable Diseases in Companion Animals,” a national research and development (R&D) project for 2026. The five participating organizations are Sookmyung Women’s University, Kyungpook National University, Korea Testing Certification (KTC), and LV Veterinary Clinical Center, among others.
These institutions plan to closely collaborate on the early diagnosis (digital biomarkers) and commercialization of precision nutrition therapy solutions targeting four major intractable complex diseases—urinary, digestive, obesity/metabolic, and cardiovascular—using video AI technology.

In April 2026 – Limpid annoouned that it has been selected as the lead research institution for the “2026 Intractable Disease Overcoming Technology Development Project for Companion Animals,” organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, South Korea.
